HOW does L.A.W. PUBLICATIONS provide EDUCATIONAL
MATERIAL at NO COST to law enforcement?

L.A.W. Publications works with local law enforcement departments to provide drug and safety educational materials at no cost to the departments. In order to provide these materials to law enforcement at no cost, sales representatives raise the dollars by selling sponsorship advertisements to the local businesses and professionals in the community.
The success of our company relies on these sponsors who give support year after year. The renewal rate for previous sponsors is 70 to 80%.

Law enforcement departments are committed to using L.A.W Publications products. Approximately 80% of departments working with L.A.W. Publications renew their projects from year to year.

Our Public Relations Division will work hand in hand with the law enforcement departments and the L.A.W. sales representative, to determine when each project will begin.  Prior to the starting date of the project, the Public Relations Director at the home office will work with the law enforcement contact person to complete a letter of introduction for the L.A.W. Publications’ sales representative. This letter, provided by the law enforcement department, will introduce the L.A.W. sales representative to the business and professional community. The introduction letter gives excellent credibility and helps move the L.A.W. sales representative from the reception area to the decision maker.

On the first day of each project, the L.A.W. sales representative will meet with the law enforcement contact person to find out how the educational materials will be used in that particular community.

After meeting with the law enforcement contact person and receiving the introduction letter, the L.A.W. sales representative may begin calling on the local business and professional community. The business and professional community is contacted in person. A list of past sponsors will be available.

HOW are SPONSORS recognized?

Sponsors are recognized through display advertisements in a drug and safety publication. This thirty-two (32)-page drug and alcohol abuse prevention journal is updated annually to include the latest information available. Each police department can personalize this publication by including a letter and a photo on the first page. Sample on the right.
